  • Forcing monitor resolution entries

I drive a pair of ViewSonic P815's with my G400 and Marvel. I prefer a setting of 1792x1344 to the 1800x144 maximum. Though the monitor and the card both support this resolution, it does not appear as a Display Properties option.

How does one go about adding it manually? Thanks in advance to all who can help.

Thanks for the tip, but the link is dead. Is there another source for this file?

BTW, I think I may need the PD4 version. (The only way the Marvel PCI and G400 can coexist is to use differing drivers, so the Video Tools doesn't recognize the G400. Sigh.) <G> Is there a PD4 version of these tools?

        Thanks in advance.

          Hi Bill

          Just uploaded <a href="http://www.zantl.de/totheweb/pd5resmgr.exe">pd5resmgr.exe</a>!
I've tried this with PD4 too by editing the mga.mon file but had no luck

          Have fun

Sorry that the link was dead! Ant uploaded the PD5 Resolution Manager to the MURC site so I deleted it from my own site. You can still get it here:
