I had two little sunburns and a load of fun hanging out on Lanzarote on the Canary Islands.

I came back yesterday's evening and have not yet used my compo back home, 'cause I had to get back up early this morning in order to have a chance to come to work in time

Glad you had fun, but boy, did we miss you...!

Lessee, the server crashed and a large chunk of us lost our nicks (including me.. Ant, and Haig as well, I think), there was a hack assault on the forums, a lot of huge fights, a couple of bannings, the aforementioned engagement, and oh...some G-stuff, like the Powerstrip dispute [with the programmer thereof], and G400 delays and problems.

Maybe we had even a better time than you, come to think of it...! Only we didn't get a tan..

I saw something about PowerStrip bugging the MGA bios ... is that true or just an attempt to get recovery for a manually screwed bios ?

No, maggi - the Powerstrip thing was for real. It ate my BIOS and Pauls too. Haig reproduced it many times.

I know they claim it's fixed now, but I won't be trying it
