  • Updating Bios for G400?

    Hi!

I just updated the bios for my G400 16megs Dual head from v1.3 to V1.5.

the file that was used to update was 897-15.bin

Why not 897-15TV.bin? The program automatically selected 897-15.bin.

    Is this correct?

    Regards,
    Manoj Mahtani

    That is correct.
The -TV bios is for DOS TV-out support only. You don't want to mess with that.

And now run the 3Dmark tests again. a du0d here reported a 30% speed loss after a bios upgrade.

        Cheers,
        Fish.
