Repost: PII Xeon and G400

Hi all,
just thought I repost this question again due to the fool that was bombing the forum.

Anyway, just wondering if there are any limitations with running a G400 in a system with dual Xeon processors. I got a hold of a i740 (for testing) the other day and can't get it to run in graphics mode, i.e I can boot but NT stops on the blue screen with the processor and memory info. Did all the usual things, drivers, bios, etc. And as I don't have a manual, I don't know what processors the G400 supports.

No facts here, just estimations:

There should ne no compatibility issues with processors of the Xeon line, just because they do not differ that much from the mainstream Pentium line.
Possibly the GX chipset creates those problems (guess it is a workstation, no server <g>).

This does of course not explain the erratic i740 behaviour.
