Need Help Running Q3Test with G400

I have been trying to run Quake 3 test (version 1.08) for a few days now without much success. I also tried running the GLsetup to load OpenGL driver for the G400 but Q3 test still doesn't want to start. It just launched the console and stopped at trying to start OpenGL. Any ideas that can help me fix this problem? I am running Win98SE. Thanks.
