  • G400max busmastering and OpenGl

When my Soundblaster PCI64 is enabled, all OpenGl games crashes. Whis I disable the soundcard everything works fine. Could it be busmastering?
How do I turn busmastering off so I can test it?
    Anything else I can do?

    Hi,

You can turn off "bus mastering" in the options tab (display properties/settings/advanced). Had a friend with a somewhat similar problem. His onboard sound card was causing the conflict.

yep. make sure the soundcard and the G400 got their very own irq's. Try move the soundcard around the pci slots

I have both the G400 and the 64PCI card and I don't have any problems. Make sure the two are not using the same IRQ and upgrade the 64PCI drivers to the latest ones date 7/15/99. Also if you will tell us a little bit more about the rest of your system.
