I know the solution for Unreal..
    1) Go to your Unreal\system floder and delete your unreal.ini file.
    2) Run the game again and it will ask you if you have a 3dfx card.. Click NO.
    3) Go to the Option menu and selec Advance Options. Then a little window will pop out.
    4) On the fourth row, you will see Drivers. Click on that and you will see a list of selections.
    5) On the third row you will see GameRenderDevice. Click on that and choose Direct3D Support. Then you are all set.
    6) Simple close that window and you should pop back to the game and it should be hardware accelerated. If not, quit the game and launch it again. Everything should be fine.

On the same advance option windows, at the bottom there's something call Rendering. Click on that and you will see a list or rendering device. Click on Direct3D Support and you will see some setting. You could mess around with the setting and get better performance for the game. For example, you could turn off Shinysurface and Volumetric light. It will give u about 5 fps more. The new Unreal 226a patch has better D3D Driver and more setting you could adjust but it's not out yet. At the mean time, enjoy the G400 and wait for UT.

I couldn't help you with Turok2 since I don't have the game but I think all you need to do is to delete the 3dfx.dll in the game directoy. You could give that a try but I am not guranteed that will work..

    Good luck

There are a few things that could cause this.
Be sure and set the games video preferences to Default OpenGL. If your using DX Control or any other program to switch to the V2 card be sure that's set to use the G400.
There is also the possiblity that you didn't completely remove your old drivers.
I have a V2 card in my system but haven't seen any errors like that yet.

Removing 3dfx is not enough, delete or rename glide2x.dll and glide3x.dll from your windows/system, since they are detecting for those .dll first then checking for hardware,
