  • ax6bc pro and g400 for new system

Hi all, I'm about to build a new system and am wondering if any of you has something similar and if there has been any problems, I really like the G400 despite some vendors assertions that it's no good. The hell with 'em I'm going to get a G400. Here's some of my specs...

    Celeron 366 ppga
    ax6bc pro
    64MB Apacer PC100 Sdram CL=2
    quantum 8.4GB HD
USR 56K voice/fax modem internal ISA
    G400 16MB/32MB SH

I would like to know of any problems and their solutions. Thanx.

I have ABIT BX6R2/Celery300@450/G40016MDH and runs GREAT.
I am sure the Aopen board is super-stable but make sure it can pump-up the Vcore to 2.05/2.1/2.2V which would help you with C366@550 if that is what you want out of your C366.
Make sure you get Week27+ Celery366 and you have a good chance @550 with 2.0/2.05V.

If you have NT5/Winxx in mind you might want to check out Abit BP6.....Grab 2 week27+ C366 and you could have a dual-550 system.

I like ABIT but the AX6BC-Pro would also be a great choice.

Have fun, and make sure you ask for a late-batch Celeron in case they have a truck load in stock.

    GTI.
