  • Feature Connector

The G400 appears to have a 26pin feature connector on it. Is this the 'standard' feature connector? Can other devices (like, a dedicated DVD decoder board) be connected to this feature connector, or is it solely for Matrox addons?

I dug through everything on their site and could find no mention of what the damned connector was for.

Isn't it for the RRG board??

It is NOT a standard feature connector. It's either for Flat panel support, RR-G, or the dualhead module for Singlehead cards....but not a generic vga feature device...

        Hi,

These connectors will indeed only work with Matrox products. You will not be able to plug anything else there and getfull functionnality with both cards...

If I don't use no RRG or anything can I then use my Light-gun interface card? It requires that 26-pin feature connector...

No. as the last two replys indicate, that connector is only for Matrox products.
