I have had my G400max for about a week in my system... P3-500, Intel mobo, 128mb PC133 ram, onboard CL sound card, 3com ethernet card, USR modem. Well, this card is great... when it works. The image quality in Quake 3 Test is great, especially with trilinear. But it has taken a new install of Windows and then a reformatting of my hard drive and another clean install of Windows. My card seems to have heat problems, which I changed when I put it in my icecold oncampus apartment. That is not the problem, the problem is that the card seems to crash whenever it has to get textures from system memory using AGP. Quake 3 using hi res textures crashes after a couple of seconds. What could be my problem? My mobo bios was updated after I reformatted my HD. My AGP aperture is on 256. Please help. I like the card, it kicks my TNT's ass in image quality and bumpmapping is sweet, so I want to get it stable for some fast Quake 3 online. Thanks.
