g200 marvel POS!

I am experiencing a problem with a recent 8mb agp G200 marvel purchase. I installed the video card into a ASUS p2b ver 10.10 board and turned on the computer. I cant see any bios posting or any video but I hear my hard disk booting. My monitor NEC 17" power LED stays on solid orange which tells me there isnt any signal. I installed my old card back and two others subsequently and i am able to see BIOS postings and windows. Is my card defective?. I bought this from matrox online store only a week now and on Monday tell these suckers a piece of my mind. This is my first and last matrox purchase and will not my get my support I dont throw away $300 to nobody.
