I've heard (from buy.com) that the MAX is looking like "late September". They are also selling it for $207 USD shipped. Brian, if you want to make cash, put your card on Ebay at $250 starting - bet you $20 you get at least $270

Could be the ship date will get moved back to October. Until people stop ordering online from Matrox faster than the supply chain...Hope they're in stores before Christmas.

I guess everyone who wants a MAX has gotten theirs. I doubt the 9/9/99 date is achievable.

                          Consider yourself lucky, then.

I personally wouldn't give my money to anyone on the internet I don't know. Even if they have just the thing I want. Unless, there is a minimal amount of money involved. In this case I would offer you 15 dollars, and you can pay the shipping. Who knows what kind of shape the card is in or what else.

Who in the world can't wait. I mean, the card is already available in some stores, it is just a matter of maybe another week or so, and we will start seeing them widespread. Then you will feel stupid for spending over 250 dollars for a card that can be bought on the internet, from a company, that has a return policy, pay with a credit card and therefore have the protection of getting scammed...all for around 200. Craziness.......

Personally, I am not making enough money on this deal to care one way or the other. I was just getting rid of a card which Matrox would have sitting on a shelf somewhere as "returned". If you think its a bad deal, don't buy it. I have bought alot of computer electronics in the past few years and have yet to return something for being defective. I'm always optimistic. When something doesn't work for me, it is always because I screwed up in the installation or Windows screwed up and another try sets it right.
