  • Holy Shit. 216 Mhz memory clock on G400-32MB DualHead

    Hi,

I overclocked my G400-32MB DualHead With
    powerstrip 2.51.07
    2 these settings:
    memory: 216 Mhz
    Graphics clock: 162

And it rocks like hell..... :-)
well I do use an fan attached 2 the heatsink, that'll probably help... :-)

Do have any idea how f&*cking irritating it is to hear this kind of thing when I can't even get mine to work how its supposed to??!

Heh just kidding Congratulations. Put a rubber glove on your head, strip naked and dance in street.

Goddamit i've just put your pointless thread to the top of the forum...but like the Murphys, I'm not bitter.

I put my G400 DH 32 Mo at
      252/252 Mhz for the memory
      and core speed.

      And it works perfect.
I allows me to have half life working
      correctly with a k6-2 300..
I saw my g400 in action
      with a better (P2 400) processor, and
      it is truly unbelievable.

I got my G400 32 MB dualhead working at 150/200 without any stability problems. And even no fan atached, only the heat sink. Wonder what I can reach using a fan on top of it.

252 sounds familiar right? I think he a bit confused and giving us the pll clock instead! I'm not sure how that could rock on a K-2 300 but...

252 core/252 memory? I donĀ“t mean to be harsh, but I find that very hard to believe. I suppose you are kidding, right?

              You are almost right.
But it was not my fault (promise..)
I used g4set to set the divider to
              1/1 1/1 1/1
for the graphics, memory and warp clock,
and it was reporting the dividers to be so.
but at 5ns (for the max), the fastest freq
the memory can achieve is 200 Mhz, so there
              is obviously a problem.

              New overclock freq (using MGATweak)
              150 core 200 memory 150 warp
              and ..252 252 252 ... does not work
