replacing G200 heatsink

I've got a socket 7 heatsink/fan that I'd like to use to replace the heatsink on my Mill G200.

Has anyone else done this..successfully?

I've seen the guide by Tennmax to use the Lasagne, but I've got this spare cooler that I'd rather use. What adhesive would the best to use?

Try either the heat-conductive cement or the double-sided adhesive tape from computernerd.

I think the cement would be better, just use as thin a layer as possible. The less the better.

Some guys recommend using standard heat-conductive grease with a coule of dabs of super glue on the corners of the chip. This takes some experimenting to determine the correct amount of grease to put on. Again, the less the better, as long as it covers the surface (except for the places you want to put the super glue).
