Looks like in the future, when citizens of the Earth will live in glass bubbles on the planet X'oron, Compaq also will have bought out Matrox, probably due to the lure of their then-recently-developed goose mapping and bilinear chicken interpolation.

Dr Falken practically lived Half-Life, in a certain sense...

Hey, if you lot want to come over to my house, bring 'WarGames' and we'll have a double feature with 'Colossus: The Forbin Project'.....

Just as long as the almight Compaq doesn't go round Kentucky Frying all their bilinear chicken interpolations, then we will all be able to live long and prosper. By the way, is the planet X'oron powered by Matrox? It better be.

And Purple, fizz, phz, foxy, Violet, or Ami (which one do you want to be called?), the G400s have come to earth, many, many years ago, but you have to look. They are everywhere, but their mump-bapping is so darn good, they can hide themselves almost perfectly.

Why, you can't handle it? Raw - you have to chase it first, then it's all the more worth biting into...

              Chase?? How ordinary... old-fashioned...

Why not have Ash's boomstick have a go, or don't you like some lead inbetween your chicken??

Some people have old fashioned ways. I may be young, but I know how to act....ish.

You proposing to Holly over the internet - far too modern and high tech. You have to be on one knee! Who agrees with me?

Steve: Call me whatever feels right to you. I've had even more variations, p'haze, phaze, a-ko, indigo, you name it. You can call me Ami but only if you're on my side of the argument :P

And until the Revolution, X'oron was powered by Truevision/TARGA.

And from what I've heard, on the G2000 you'll be able to disable the Kentucky cache. So it's all good.

Oh Stevie boy, but I will... I will...

Y'all just won't be present that day... but for Holly ofcourse

BTW, you didn't read that thread too properly... she proposed to me in a proper manner, and all I could shamefully and lovefully do is say YES

                    Jorden.

Thank god about the Kentucky Fried crap!

And Jorden - you better do, or I'll make Holly use that boomstick on you!

Steve: Hope so. A bit wary joining a "community" that's bound together by a company's products Not sure how solid that is. but maybe I could end up getting more involved in the UG. Maybe they've got some op/ed positions 'round the MURC.

Came here seeing if I could get hints on obtaining a G400 before New Years, and ended up discovering a wealth of... well... A wealth of something. But it's good, and I'll be around.

My, it certainly is nice to be so popular...

You have to remember, Steve, it's a new world. So we must make our peace with the modern and high tech.

I still like to imagine that Jorden typed his 'yes' from one knee, though...

Ami is right (why do I have the sense that we should all just memorize that phrase now and save ourselves the work later?); texture is everything.

And Steve, Steve....You're so gallant, but I don't think we need bring boomsticks into this....not that kind, anyway.... loud, smelly things...Tell you what, take this back to Slarty before he misses it, and when you get back we'll go for pizza, OK?...see you in a minute...[click]...[snick] ...Jord...? Come out from under there, silly, he's gone....

                            Hmmm...

"Stay away along time Steve" ... no
                            "One pizza enough?" ... no
"It isn't loaded, Steve, trust me..." ... errr

Jorden, speechless at such an indecency...

Woohoo! Another joins our ranks. Is it just me, or is everyone who come here asking for help ends up staying? We're an ever growing virtual community here!

Ah, but one request - a little while ago I asked everyone for their age, and if possible a photo. Would you mind if I were to be so blunt as to ask you yours?

(Trying to ask in the nicest way as to not scare away our newest member!)

Umm, Jorden, calm down! Talk about jealousy!! Isn't that right, darling Holly?
