Best Install Procedure

Hi,

just received my Max in Vanilla's clothing today and am wondering what would be the best procedure to go forth and multiply err I mean install this baby. I currently have an ATI Xpert@Play 98 and a Diamond Monster 3D II V2 card. Here's what I propose to myself...let me know if this sounds OK:

1) Uninstall V2 software.
2) Shut down
3) Remove V2 card
4) Reboot
5) Search for any Registry stuff pertaining to V2
6) Search for any extra V2 danglers (files that weren't removed...Glide2x.dll, Glide3x.dll)
7) Repeat for ATI card.
8) Before shutdown, ensure all ATI files are removed
9) Shutdown
10) Remove ATI card
11) Put in G400 (don't have my Lasagna cooler yet)
12) Turn on PC, enter BIOS settings
13) Change AGP Apature to 256MB
14) Allow W98 to boot, see card and go
15) Install 5.13 drivers
16) We are rocking BABY!

BTW, what is the best way to remove the heatsink on the G400?

Well it looks like my reply went to the old forum. Happy to say that the G400 install went off without a hitch.....What a beautiful card....
