It's a little util that may let you overclock your CPU.

    Have a look here: http://www.theregister.co.uk/990826-000010.html

It might be worth a shot - you never know. Over on Anand's site, his bulletiun board was buzzing when the above story was released. Might be worth checking there.

G400 MAX with Intel Celery 400

I've currently got a G200 with 8Mb SGRAM (woo-hoo). Is it worth me upgrading to a G400 MAX with my little Celery or will I not gain a massive benefit from it?

Have you tried overclocking your celery stick?

And, anyway - you will see benefits from all the advantages the g400 has over the g200 (bump mapping, dual head balh blah), but it won't be at it's full speed. It also means that when you upgrade your CPU, it'll be like upgrading your graphics card at the same time.

I've got an Intel BI440ZX motherboard that doesn't seen to be overclockable I probably won't be upgrading my processor and m/b for a while but I like the look of the G400. Maybe I'll get one anyway... Thanks for the info.

              Look at CoolBreeze's reply in <A HREF="http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/Forum5/HTML/004002.html" target="_blank">http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/Forum5/HTML/004002.html</A>

He has a C366 and has no probs, so you should be fine.
