5.21 DRIVERS ARE OUT!!

Pretty congested out there, everyone going after them drivers at once. Good thing I got WS_FTP Pro, 28 minutes instead of 2 hours!

As I expected, the uninstall/reinstall procedure wasn't very useful, the numbers still suck. Are there more people having these problems with the new drivers?

My system: G200 Millennium retail, K6-2 333 on a MVP3 chipset.

I'm getting quite fed up with the driver issues. I have this card for about a year now, and STILL there are problems with OpenGL.

If nobody can come up with a sollution soon, I'll switch back to the 5.13, which were better in my situation. (not "good", just "not as bad as")

I installed the drivers and... tadadadaaaa... my scores in Quake 2 and 3 stay exactly the same. I will try the uninstaller and procedure, but installing drivers SHOULD work without such a thing.

1) Install it (duh!)
2) turn off "D3D Vsync"
3) turn on "AGP2x"

Viola! At least as fast as before. Worked for me anyway...hope it does for you guys too

The new drivers still doesn't solve the problems in Tribes! Well I gonna open up my computer AGAIN and install my old TNT.

Is it really that hard to get it to work.

Margull Of course it solves no problem in TRIBES. Nvidia and Dynamax did the drivers for TRIBES. Thats why there is a selection in Tribes for TNT and "other" TNT works, other sucks. No driver by any other company works well with that game 'cept 3DFX. thats why I still have a V2.

Tried the G400 Tweak program but with no luck. I can't figure this out at all. I went back and did a re-install following Matrox's instructions to a "T" but I'm getting the same results. I have no idea what's wrong. D3D is flying but Q3 and OGL is awful.

Why can't a company write a program that properly unistall's drivers without going through that entire process anyway? I'm just tired and in rant mode. This is frustrating.

I am using the 5.21 drivers and it seems that Q3 and Half Life are much slower than the 5.13 drivers..i havent run any timedemos yet, but the game slows down a hell of alot more now...I have run a timedemo in Kingpin and the score is the same as 5.13 and ive noticed no increase or decrease in performance in KP. But, for the rest of them...the performance is obviously worse. Is there something i dont know here? Should i delete my 5.13 drivers? I installed the 5.21 driver correctly, i dont understand this at all. Is there going to be another release soon? I hope these arent the drivers everyone was hyping up on...if so then i am very disapointed in Matrox. If they cannot produce a quality FULL ICD w/ a good Open GL...within the next month or so...then im selling this card and getting a NV10 or the S3 2k. Then again it could be my fault and installed them wrong...ill try again, and if i get the same results then i guess ill have to switch back to the 5.13 drivers (cuz the work much better). Im not going to point any fingers just yet because i know it could be an error on my part.

After installing 5.21, I ran PCIList, and it reported that I still have AGP 2x.
