By MS's latest guidelines for certification, the drivers cannot have an uninstaller built in any more. Everyone who wants WHQL certification on their drivers will be doing the same thing...

No, see the catch is that not only aren't you supposed to have an uninstaller, but you ARE supposed to have drivers that uninstall cleanly if you run "add/remove programs" from the control panel.
Diamond and 3dfx seem to have implemented this... and it's not hard, I could write it in a couple hours... hey wait! Maybe I will! All who vote for an integrated uninstaller hacked into the Matrox drivers raise your hand!
