Umm, I mentioned in another thread that I've had real bad luck in o/cing the g200. mystclk and mgatweak definitely altered my settings so i'd say they work for the g2'. Tried it for a while and never got anything more than like a 1-2 fps increase and that screwed with the stability. Going more than a few mhz higher actually started to slow it down. Because of the fierce voodoo2 competition with everyone at the time of the g200 release, i really think the g200's are tuned the best they can be.
... but then that's just my opinion. A lot of people swear by overclocking. I've just never seen real evidence that it -works- for more than a few minutes without errors. I've found through a lot of frustration that o/cing might be faster on one test at first but it'll slow other things down due to memory errors that you aren't even seeing.
The guys at Matrox know their chips a lot better than we do. Sorry if this is blasphemy, everyone, but if yall wanna show me otherwise, i'll turn around.
