  • Matrox Power Toys App III

    Haig,
First, welcome back. How was the much deserved vacation?

With the confusion surounding the vsinc settings in the new drivers my mind naturaly turned to the subject of the tweek app. Any word?

btw -> I have an Abit bh6 so you can add my name to the bh6 experimenters list
(When I finaly find a max in Oklahoma !)
How about a list of venders who have gotten them?
    thanks,
    chuck

    Hi Chuck,

    Holidays were great, thanks.

Out of curiosity, how much O/Cing would you
    be expecting from this?

PS: You do know that it's still vapourware right?

      Haig,
      Thanks for the response.
      10-4 on the vaporware.
I think the rule of thumb would be:
      a. Enough to cause some visible gitches.
      b. Not enough to produce charcoal

I'd be happy w/ 15% and some good registry switches for vsync & ogl etc. settings.
Of course if you would like to match my celery 333's 50% go right ahead but I wouldn't recomend it!

        Haig,

After looking at some of the posts about the new drivers & vsinc, texsort etc. I think one thing you might like to do in the app or the drivers themselves is provide a way to over-ride the settings by games.
Now that OGL has become main-stream maybe it is time to move these setting out of the game's control and into the driver's where they belong.

          Hi Chuck,

The suggestion for the gl switches were given in a while back.
