Athlon+G400+5.21 now very very fast! -thanx-
Hello,
After a lot of help from you guys my G400 regular SH with 16MB is now super fast.
Yes, I am using 5.21 drivers as they are simply faster. It took a format for me to get the performance to where it is now but that was because of my athlon. I never formatted after installing this MoBo+cpu.
I'll post some scores:
Quake2 (16bit desktop):
640x480 = 92.9 FPS
800x600 = 90.5 FPS
1024x768 = 77.5 FPS
1600x1200 = 35.4 FPS
Quake2 (32bit desktop):
1024x768 = 73.7 FPS
Quake3 (16 bit):
640x480 = 47.1 FPS
1024x768 = 44.6 FPS
3DMARK 99 Max (800x600 16bit)
3DMarks = 5433
CPU Marks = 9216
Now if this isnt fast enough for now.. wow
I do have plans on OCing the Athlon.
