I've read so far a lot of articles regarding G400 and G400MAX. I have one question is it good to get G400Max while I have G400 32mb dualhead. I have only 17" monitor and using 1152x864 resolution as my desktop, also I'm playing games in 1024x768 or 1152x864. I have p2 300 o/c 504mhz, 256mb ram, sb live. Will I notice any differences between G400 and G400Max???

You will only notice a difference above 1024x768 (in 32 bit colour) and 1280x960 (16 bit colour). At least it´s what I get overclocking my vanilla to max speeds. Of course you can overclock the MAX higher, but usually they don´t overclock as well (proportionally) comparing as some vannillas do. And if you manage to get a vanilla 5ns ram, you´ll be in heaven
My advice: price/performance wise, I think the vanilla is the best buy. If you look only for performance (or if you are planning to run your desktop 1600x1200@100 hz), the Max is what you are looking for.

Is it easy for you to take out your card and look at it? If you have a white socket for a fan connector, and 5ns RAM instead of 6ns, you have a MAX that didn't pass all of the tests, and should overclock nicely.
Good luck,
