it looks very impressive and it seems to be a special version of G400MAX reminding me of Marvels.
The gfx card has the AAvid fan on the G400 chip and there is a BOB that's looks like the Marvel BOB, additional it has a card for MPEG2 realtime editing.

Quality is very impressive.

I asked one of the dudes at the booth whether it would be possible to extend an existing Marvel system to a RT system, but they denied

It is some special feature that is lacking on Marvels (those guys weren't very specific, more like general answers)

Anyway, if I had to make a decision in producing/editing MPEG2 and maybe authoring to DVD, I'd go with 'DVDit!' which is bundled with Matrox DigiSuite and probably there is a low cost version coming with the RT2000 .... just found a link: http://www.matrox.com/videoweb/endus...ns/rtsoft1.htm
