Need some help! PCI and AGP together

Hello!
I'm trying to uptade my corrupted video bios from dos.what should i do that i can get my S3 virge(pci) and matrox g400 max(agp)both working properly.S3 virge should be primary video card so i could go to dos and matrox secondary,but matrox is not working properly:
device condition is:"windows is trying to boot system without checking system devices".
so simply how can i use s3 virge primary and matrox secondary video card?

AFAIK, if you want the AGP to boot as a secondary display, you have to set the option in your system BIOS:
on my P2B, it's something like PnP & PCI>Display Order>PCI/AGP.
You should be able to get to a DOS prompt and then reflash your BIOS. Be sure to set your BIOS back to AGP/PCI after your G400 is working again.
