Just wanted to add my name to the list of people asking about NT's terrible OpenGL performance. I am not so concerned about Windows 2000; MS is keeping all the manufacturers out of this game until the release, but since NT appears to be such a low priority I am wondering if Matrox will have the experience and expertise to produce a decent Windows 2000 driver come release day.

      Paul,

I think Win2000 drivers will be allot easier to program because of DX 7.0.

        Hi Elie,

Maybe they will try an OpenGL wrapper under 2000 just to try and get the frame rates up a bit.

Anyway, it sounds like RC2 has just been released - it is supposed to have native support for the G400, but apparently still no OpenGL?

I think troop might have a point here. If the problem is financing production capacity, or R&D on chip yields, perhaps stock issues could solve this problem. Technology stocks are booming right now, and everyone seems to want a piece of the pie. It's very hard to compete as a company if you don't take the steps necessary to grow.
