Anand and new Matrox chips?

Hi everyone,

Though I have been reading these forums for quite some time now I have never posted anything, until now that is. Anyway, I just surfed on over to Anand's tech page and read an interesting tidbit about Matrox and some upcoming products. I didn't see it posted here yet so I decided to do so myself.

I'll just copy a bit for simplicity

I'll be visiting Matrox and I'll be taking a look at two of their new products, although neither of these products will be competing with NVIDIA's GeForce 256, S3's Savage 2000 or 3dfx's next-generation product (they better hurry up and announce a name, I'm tired of typing "next-generation product") in terms of performance, they should both be very interesting items to take a look at.


I found this quite interesting... I wonder what Matrox has hidden up their sleeves?

Ant is also missing in action this week...rumor has it he was mysteriously whisked off on an airplane for a destination somewhere in North America

Anyway, I doubt there will be anything new that we don't already know about. Probably just some official announcements about cards we already knew where coming (and maybe an extra little treat or two ).
