I have a Nokia 445XPro hooked up to a G400 MAX and it has really great clarity with fonts all the way to 1800x1440 at 85 Hz. Nokia will also send you (free) a 5-connector BNC cable upon request. This combination gives the best picture I have seen. The standard cable which comes with the Nokia is also excellent in picture quality. I picked up the Nokia for $1000 from Onsale (www.onsale.com). They are at $530 bid right now. See the following URL.

You want to make some cash?
What really bugs me is the cheapo cables that we all use in our PC's. In the audio field there are liquid cooled speaker cables at 10 grand. Monster cables etc... but PC's... we use the cheapest wiring available. It is an "untapped" market. I really hate those power cables in the chinese power supplys. Look at the wiring in 350$ speaker kits!! Ribbon cables are real cheapo. And as mentioned here, we spend and tweak our video but the most important link is the cable. Things will change, someone will step-up and we will all pay up !

            I have to correct myself:

The 100hz refresh rate was for 1024x768. I'm at 85 (can go as high as 88) hz refresh rate at 1280x1024. I just checked when I got home because I'm tweaking the other head

            Sorry about the confusion.

When I said output, I didn't mean framerate...I couldn't figure how to run anything besides winblows 2d at that rez :/

              Quality was wonderful though.

BTW, mr ikea desk...you didn't go and buy a walmartish particle board POS did you? I didn't think they made that crap but ...? A real oak desk will take a helluva lot more than 2x21". Once I move in here, I'm not holding back, esp being in the furniture capital of the world. I just use my old 17" or tv-out for dualhead.

                Off topic question...

Randy, how exactly do you say €0.02. It wouldn't be cents would it? Do you actually have to say "point zero two euro"?

They've gotta come up with a cute katchy name for fractional euro. like Euries. or E-bits. Eurettes. Shimmies. Spinkies.

I thought it was cents? I like E-bits though! maybe just bits would be better.
Pounds and Pence still rule though!

Ah, the humanity of olden times. We are now all too processed and homogenized. One currency? how boring. The Euro, as all things modern, is probably metric. What is it Steve? a CentiEuro?

Yes. I must practice more restraint. Maybe I should be spanked when I go off topic.

Which restraints were you practicing with? My old monitor cables seem to work well now that I got my BNCs.. but a cable with five ends gives me ideas. Hmm..
