Just want to find the correct procedure to remove these drivers. There's no uninstaller and they don't show up in Win98's Add/Remove Programs. Also, what is the file extension for these drivers? I thought it was .mga. Thanks in advance.

There's an uninstaller program over on Ant's site. http://www.murc.ws in the download section.

PS: Some or all of the above message may be wrong, or, just as likely, correct. Depends on what mood I'm in. And what you know. ;¬)

Follow the instructions on the Matrox site for unistalling drivers:
http://www.matrox.com/mga/tech_supp/..._uninstall.htm
Also, use the unistaller mentioned above. Using both was the only way I could update my drivers.
After you have deleted all the files, duplicate devices and registry keys (see above procedure), reboot and accept the VGA driver. Turn off all programs and run the setup program you obtain by decompressing the new driver file. The setup program will reboot the computer and then when Windows asks for the location of additional files, refer it to the directory which the driver file was decompressed to.
This is what worked for me...
