    The number of features supported by hardware has NOTHING to do with driver speed. The simple fact is that 3dfx is longer in the 3D ballpark than others and have very fast drivers. Except that they made an error in judgement and ignored OpenGL. But hey, not 3dfx made that fault...

      carlmeister: you were talking about drivers for AMD (or whatever you said) where can O get them, and r they for K6 or K7?

        Speedy, The drivers are available on AMD's web site. The work with VoodooII in Quake II only and they can be ripped for the use in V3 series of cards, but I can't remmeber how too.
