2 things. everybpdy who said You r stupid to buy p3/k7 500 for $300 or whatever they cost, if U can just buy Celery 366 for 100 or whatever it cost od oc it to 550, TurboGL is answer
    Second
You think you are so smart, and saved 200 dollars on the cpu, and If u think logicaly, there should be something in P3/K7 that is better than in celery, Right? Right.
If celery is so good, ehrn u oc it to 550, why ppl don't sell it for 300 but sell it for 100?
Anybody want to answer, or flame?

    Hey Speedy,

Now overclock that K7 a bit and see what it will do. Here's my results at the same resolution for an overclocked P3-550.

uh, Intel sells the Celeron at $100 so AMD doesn't eat their lunch. They gotta compete at that price point.

Can't wait until the Celeron supports SSE- supposed to happen in Feb/Mar 2000 timeframe.

        LTF:

Unfortunately, it won't be included on *your* Celeron.

I could buy a P3 450 now and give my celery to my nephew. And I would still be money ahead of where I would have been if I had bought the P3 to start with.

Sure the P3(wont talk about the K7 ,thats a different story has something the celery doesn't. But what if this magical turbogl driver never came out? I still think that a celery offers way more price/performance than anything else. What if you were a TNT2 or 3dfx user would you still feel the same way? Celery @ 550 for $44 = one hell of a deal!

hey speedy, how do you like your sd11 ? now that the k7 500 are selling for 220.00 im seriusly thinking of buying one and overclocking it to 600 or 650. (yes i would use a soldering iron if a pulg in board is not advalible in a few months when it is begining to be out passed by newer releases.)

but i wiould like to know how stable the board is and weather it likes the g400 at 2x agp. do you see any window errors? vxd ect???? how is the board preforming? will primne 95 run 24hours + with no errors reported?
