Drivers installed for my MAX was listed as vanilla" G400, will this slow down my MAX?

You could go to change adapter and change it to a MAX. No difference like Kruzin says. Just weird that it doesn't detect it right. Hope this gets fixed.

Hey, if that NEVER gets fixed, who cares? I've used Diamond adapters for years, and they seldom get their driver descriptions correct... it's probably Microsoft's fault!

I guess my point is that when THESE are the problems we're having we should be grateful.

Maybe Matrox made a kludge, so those who got the suspected failed MAX's (those with 5ns ram + fan connector), won't get a "G400MAX" reading?
