I posted this problem a few months ago and was wondering if anyone has managed to figure it out yet.
Every time I try to play a copy protected DVD through my flat panel display, the screen goes blank, while an analog monitor connected to the same card still runs fine. To correct the situation, a reboot is required. Non copy-protected DVDs (samplers, Video Essentials) do not exhibit this behavior.
I have a plain vanilla G200 Millenium and PaneLink daughtercard, both purchased from the Matrox web site. According to display properties I have BIOS 2.6TV, driver 4.33.
I have been told that perhaps the card is confusing the flat panel for a TV out and is trying to enable Macrovision, however it is recognized properly in the extra hardware window as a flat panel add-on.
Any help would be appreciated.
