  • Turbo GL And New G400 Drivers

Anyone know if these are still due to hit on the 8th?

I've got plenty of issues that I'm relying on these drivers to correct. (As are quite a few of you I'm sure).

Nonetheless, regardless of the issues I've had, I consider my new G400 Max the best video card I've ever owned! The image quality is simply astounding! Even blows away a TNT!!!

I don't think anyone has heard to the contrary - yet!

All of the information I have (which is next to nothing) indicates they are still on for an October 8th release.

I've found that a good rule of thumb is to add a week.

Hmm... I think it'll be out on the 8th.

            Of October too.

            Just not this year.....

Well, they did actually put a date in writing this time. I say they will be out tomorrow.

They should do up a NVIDIA style counter with every driver release.

In 24 hourse the WORLD will NOT change!

I think they will do their best to make the stated date of the 8th. If they miss it, it won't be by much, the way it looks right now...

We (the BBz) are testing a release candidate right now, and it is looking pretty good

                          Hi Frank,

I've been using it on a Dell PII 400
and on an Athlon K7 500 and it looks fast and stable.

                            I don't have a PIII.
The RC drivers work fine on my lil ol' P2....
                            just no TurboGL...

What? No Turbogl on a PII? They can't do that!! My neighbour will have more frame rates than me. I will be ridiculed and humiliated. How can they expect me to play on line with a crappy 60fps!!

Oh the humanity. Where is the justice in this.

Puhleeeeeeeze Kruzin tell me it ain't so.
