Turbo GL And New G400 Drivers

I got lucky and was able to pull off a trade of my "trusty" PII 300 SL2W8 that OCed to 558/2.2V with an Alpha Rig plus $25 for a P3 500. I stand ready for the TurboGL. I won't freak tho if it isn't out for a few days. They (Matrox) know there are plenty of peeps waiting for it. If it it takes a couple of extra days, so be it.

What you guys really wanto know is if the "TurboGL" only kicks in when it detects simd stuff, and if the ICD is more optimized. Now, if the turboGL also was a sort of miniGL just for half-life, unreal and pherhaps Quake3 (if that's possible), then it could be used on the other CPU's.

Are these new drivers supposed to be rebuilt for DirectX 7?? Or is that going to be the next iteration??
