  • Max temp for a PII?

    I have recently bought a PIII 450!
    And am curious about the max temp!
    Oh, im sure intel has an temp, but i know that they ower exagherate!

    I bought a Radio Shack indoor/outdoor thermometer with a thermocouple. When I placed the thermocouple against the side of the heatsink near the top of the processor (between the two fans) I got a problem at 118 degrees F. I normally keep the temperature under 110 F.
