soooooooooo both leave the vsync on.... can u tell me what to set for vblank and what to set for vsync... and thanks for the fast reply but how do i change vsync
That's a typo on Speedy's part. "fliponvblank" means the same thing as "flip on vsync" -- or more informatively, "wait for vertical sync before flipping the page".
Turning off the wait for vertical sync may give you a marginal increase in perceived FPS (while stealing a substantial number of CPU cycles away from other important tasks, such as game AI); however, it may also result in some visible "tearing" on the screen. (The perceived FPS increase applies only if the game is double-buffering; if it's doing triple buffering, then there is no advantage to disabling the wait for vertical sync -- except for benchmarking purposes.)
BTW, if you're using DualHead Clone to play games on your TV, you should definitely not disable the wait for vertical sync, as the resulting tearing on the TV screen will be absolutely unbearable. Try it and see!

yea thats what i figured, damn greebe hehe, the way speedy posted i figured that the flipvblank had nothing to do with vsync... well i guess i'll leave it on ...
