I wish I could go, but no ride. Anybody wanna swing by St. Louis on the way?

Whew!!! What a weekend. I put a little over 950 miles on the highway. I got bored and took a couple pics while driving. Looks like the Fall colors are in and summer is about over down in the Southern Rockies.
Who's driving??? This one is complete with bugs on the windshield...LOL
Here's another taken while driving. Those peaks still have a bit of snow on them from last week.

Just a warning to anyone who plays TFC or Q2 online, if you ever see Kruzin[MU] and Slick on a team, it's best to be on their team. I was blasted all night by the duo.
I was just bummin because I didn't take any screenshots of the final scores
Paul surpised me with how well he gets along in those shooter games with a joystick. Most people use a mouse+kb combo. There was one round he had almost 1/2 my score I noticed a gamepad by Your machine Rags...Is that what you where using for our Q2 rounds?
And now Rags and Paul know the power of the Crakhor! If you see two of us comin at ya in a RA or CTF match...you'd best get away
Unfortunatly, I passed out around 2am with a terrible headache, and missed the racing games.
Oh....and the breakdown of cards at the party was pretty even. Several Matrox cards, several Voodoos(sli and v3s), a TnT, and a couple poor sods with no 3D at all (and one really lost guy with a Cyrix 6x86...who never did get his machine running ). Anyway...the G400 crew did a good job of impressing the crowd. The V3 owners all stood by thier cards ("yea...but I get xxfps"), but all admitted the beauty of the G400
And I was in shock to find out that Rags swings both ways! All night long, he swapped his V3 and G400 in and out of his machine, seeming to be an advocate for whichever card was plugged in at the time

Hehehe, the Gamepad is used for NFS, NOT shooting games. Kruzin is correct, I got a V3 3000 earlier this week in trade, and was trying it out, and used it at the LAN party until I put the G400 in, but I kept getting random reboots, so I kept swapping, tweaking, cussing and nothing worked. For a while I thought that my tower hitting me in the head at 85 had something to do with the weird behavior, but today, I pulled my NIC out, and both cards run flawless, with the G400 running AWESOME with TurboGL. You know TurboGL is kicking it when you see 80 fps running most of the time running Q2 at 1024 with all details pushed.
Ya, what an experience.... Kruzin and SLiCK have been playing Quake together since the the original Quake1. You don't want to go up against those two...Hehehehe
Rags didn't mention it but he got run off the road by a truck while going 85mph. His computer which was in the back seat of his car smacked him on the back of the head.
I'm sure that loosened a few things...LOL
My only exciting moment on the drive up was getting stopped by a New Mexico State Cop for going 90 in a 65mph zone. He was cool and just told me to slow down
The V3-3000 was impressive as far as FPS but it sure got hot. Too hot to touch just after a couple games of Q2. But it just couldn't match the video quality of the G400. I took my 21" Trinitron monitor up and had a crowd of V3 and TNT owners totally blown away by the quality of Big M
Besides all the games we played ran beautifully on the G400's with the new 5.3 Drivers.
