  • Can somebody tell me if this is right??

    Hey guys!!

I've got my G400 overclocking to Fo=310 using MGATweak but, between 280 and 310 the 3Dmarks(800x600x16) stay right about at 3900. Does this mean that I have run into the max power of my CPU? This is my guess.

    TIA

    Paul

Well kind of. What this means is that with the current drivers, your card is processing every bit of the information that your processor can spit out, so upping the performance of your card is having no effect on the actual performance. If you were to up the resolution somewhat higher, you would notice that there is a difference when you clock your card higher, since your cpu load will be the same as lower resolutions, but the fillrate and graphics card load is pushed upwards. Make any sense?
