has anyone gotten a g400 max or vanilla from buycomp, if so, how long of a wait?

My neighbor is still waiting for his Max. I'm pretty sure he ordered from buycomp. It's on back order. Since July, maybe June.
He's got a P3-450, plenty of RAM, a 18GB HD, a Hitachi 751, and a Virge card.

EggHead shows the G400 with a 360Mhz RAMDAC for $189 in stock, it should be the MAX but they don't list it that way...
they also have G400 vanilla's (ie 300Mhz RAMDAC) for $150, though they are shown as outa stock....

They're not MAXes, or at least they shouldn't be. Another guy I know ordered his MAX from Egghead. That's on backorder too, but only since August/early Sept.

I just called Egghead customer support to chec on the MAXs they have as listed on their site. They are _NOT_ in stock. I asked the rep fi they are due in, and he said he has no idea when they will be coming, since their order from the Maztor supplier is "Way past due"
