HELP!

Just got my G400 DH, installed it 2d works great, D3D works wonderful.... but open gl does not want to work. The install program doesnt see setup16.dll, setup32.dll, and setupres.dll, it gives me an error telling me I have to have them in the same directory as the setup.exe. That's the problem they are right next to it and the program doesn't see them(btw this is with the latest drivers). Everything works wonderful except Quake based games. I've disabled bus mastering, didnt work.
My specs are
celeron 450
64 ram
abit bh6 motherboard(I think its drivers not the mobo this time)
MX300

How.... dumb question, I should know this but I don't I looked in the bios and nothin. I own my own comp building business and I don't know this.... shame on me

go to http://www.murc.ws and get the registry hacks
also, don't have to disable the bus mastering on the bh6
did you have another vid card in with this install of winblows?

yeah had a V3, deleted all the files and stuff though(had to do that many a times). So there's not any left, just my G400 goin jiggy *sigh*

Sorry, but it looks as if though either you still have some of the VooDoo's MiniGL drivers left over, or your game still thinks that you are using a DooDoo.

I have deleted everything that has 3dfx and doodoo tags on it, all gone and fried(and some of the stuff that had it inside, nothing vitale or that effects anything). So how do I change the G400 to do agp 1x? Also anyone else have any problems like this that wanna help me out? (I know your our there, you can't hide )

What's your AGP aperature set at in the Bios? It should be set at 128.

Try making a boot disk and typing "FORMAT C:". Best way to make sure DooDoo drivers are gone. A fresh install of Win98SE usually cures everything.

I lowered my res to 1024x768 on my desktop and I can now play in open gl... weird eh? i was in 1280x1024 so I'm happy now. Thanks for all da help.
