    G400 MAX AGP Bios setting question!!


    I just got my new G400 MAX

    My question is that i have 86MB of AGP textures memmory .
    My bios AGP seting is 128mb (i havent change it since 3 hours ago that i still had my g200).

    Do i really need 86mb of texture memory for the optimum resolts?

    Congratulations. It depends on the games you play and resolution. An aperture setting of 128MB will handle about everything. Occasionaly, 64MB will be too low for optimal performance.

      If your motherboard can handle it, set the AGP aperture size to 256 in the BIOS, for then whole of the rest of your memory is used to for the textures.

        My bios can go easily 256Mb AGP but wont it
        affected my system memory resources???
