Hahahaha - you're only a member, not a MURCer like the rest of us...

so, you're not using your all in one 486 any more? Shame!

        Cheers,

Not Married yet... possibly engaged soon... I am not using my all in one compaq anymore... and I actually broke down and bought my parents a 500 dollar computer that will run all the newest stuff (It was more for my little brother.)

Not much has gone on in my life... mainly more school...

And one question.. how can I become a MURCer... (Betchya it has something to do with hanging around here all day.. LOL)

          Its nice to be back.

To become a MURCer: Fax or email Ant $1000 Canadian Dollars, in unmarked bills, not funny money or monopoly money...

How about if I send him a genuine canadian brewski (Canadian for Beer or "Ale" for you traditional types... LOL...) that should do it...

Right now I am in my CSO200 course (Operating systems) doing a test... we have to install and do the following:

                  -Dos 6.22
                  -Mouse Driver
                  -CD-Rom Driver
                  -Network Card Driver
                  -Packet Driver
                  -Optimize the Memory
                  -Windows 3.1
                  -TCP Program
                  -FTP Program
                  -Download a file with FTP
                  -16 Bit Browser
and last but not least the Win32S patch.

guess which step I am on... (I will give you a hint.. I am using IE3.

                  Boy isn't this fun...

                  LOL...

Well have to go.. I only have an hour to finish up installing the 2 second Win32S patch.. Oops I gave it away..

                  Later Guys.

                        Hey Damoury,

Hope you had a good summer.
Your class sounds like it should be called the History of Operating Systems. Now don't push that old system too hard, eh.

                          Hey Guys..

The computers we are running off of are Dell Computers with a P3-450, 128MB Ram, 12GB HD's, 52xCD's, TNT2-Ultra's, 19" Moniters...

Not exactly the oldest stuff... LOL... we are just doing this so that some of the new operating system stuff makes more sense for the uninformed... We started with Dos and then Win 31... then its to WIN95 and WIN98 and we are also doing WIN NT 4.0 Server and Workstation... and then we move to WIN2000, and then SOLARIS and linux...

We are just starting with the basics... LOL... lots of work ahead still...
