  • Celery-people benchmarks, please !

Those who have celeries clocked 500+ , i'd like to see what results you have with G400 in 3dmark99max(800x600), q3 or q2, U.T wicked demo. I'm having C400@450 (doesn't oc more !)/G400SH32M and thought to move on 466@?? What is the realistic preformance boost to expect ??
U.T & Q3 with my current settings seem to be a litle bit too slow. And by the way my G400/Abit BX6 r2.31 works well.

    Hi UncleJoe!
    My Celerie is 300A@450
You only got real performance boost when you run them on fsb 100 MHz.So in your case it is better to run at 4.5 * 100 because when you run on 466 your fsb moves down to 66 MHz and that will decrease performance. So when it runs at 450 try 504 =4.5 * 112.
Do you got cas 2 ram?

      I got ~3900 on 3DMark @ 464MHz and ~4100 @ 504MHz (not stable enough for everyday use )

      Oops, that's at 800x600x16.

          err...Marco,
So in your case it is better to run at 4.5 * 100 because when you run on 466 your fsb moves down to 66 MHz and that will decrease performance. So when it runs at 450 try 504 =4.5 * 112.
Ole' UncleJoe can't run his C400 at 4.5x112=504 cos his Celery is locked at 6x multipier (C400=6x66). He gets 450Mhz from 6x75Mhz FSB. If he tried the 112Mhz FSB he would get a whopping 6x112=672Mhz! And we would ALL be jealous You realize that yours is locked at 4.5x multiplier (x66=300). Yes.
Your 450Mhz is a very handy speed for the G400 since the G400 loves to gobble up CPU Mhz.
