Major Problems w/ G400 MAX

    Hi Holly!
    The PCI modem will take a high IRQ. (even if it's not a winmodem, rags)
    But he just has to get his vid card up to the higher ones. The lower ones don't work the same as the high ones.

    Huge clouds of midnight-oil fumes seem to be floating around tonight!

      Well we can just forget about this problem for awhile at least, cause im picking up a new motherboard(Abit probably) and a PIII 450.

      Keep you informed if it works on that system

        Well. Got me a new motherboard and chip and all is well. G400 runs nice. with the new piii 450 life is good.
        that old motherboard was the problem. had something wrong with its irq assignment....

          post your mobo info and we'll tell you how to speed up that p-3 450 hence speeding up the g400

            The motherboard is a no-name BX6. The multiplier seams to be jumper controlled while the fsb is adjustable in the bios.
            It apears to have an 8x multiplier on it.
