And if you ask for advice, and we give it... FOLLOW it. Or you'll get flamed.

I just finished reading a thread where a fella who started off nice (clueless, but nice) got real annoying real fast. Exchange went like this:

<Fella> My G400 isn't working.

<MURCer> Try installing the VIA patch.

<Fella> I won't install that patch. It's stupid.

<MURCer> Well, it might be the card, but it's probably that you need the VIA patch, since we've been over this.

<Fella> I'm not installing the stupid F-ing patch! It's not that, I KNOW it's not that. It MUST be the card so tell me how to fix it!

<MURCer> Sorry, that's all I have to offer. Idiot.

<Fella> G400's suck and all you MURCers flame people like me with real problems! I'll call this the MATROX LOSERS GOSSIP CENTER! ASSWIPE!

Folks, this has to stop. We are more than happy (and I don't know why) to help you. Even when you have the same problem as 100 people before you, we still help. Then you get all snippy and mean.

I'm too stressed out for this. Either take our advice or leave. Simple, isn't it?

When it starts to get to you here, head on over to Deja. You really see how society has slipped over there. Here there is at least some accountability impressed upon peoples poor behavior which is supported by others, and people either respond and change or eventually leave.

Life is good here, eh?

I agree.. good people here. If you go to one of those voodoo forums, you will feel like you are in a crips vs bloods war, there are so many vulgar primates there.

Nah, I just threw in that little Tyloser-ism for the sake of creative embellishment. Like I said, I'm not going to name names, I don't want to personally offend anyone. But a careful read-through will show SEVERAL threads like that.
