  • K7 and Max...anyone, anyone, Buehler, Buehler???

Anyone out there paired the Max (or G400 Van) with a K7??? What are the probs, if any???I am planning on getting a K7 600 and the FIC mbo this week...and wondered what I was in for...
    Thanks in advance...

No problems here using an OC'd Athlon500 @ 650 on a MSI 6167 mb and a Max. One thing though... there is a bug in the BIOS on th SD11 that effects stability at or above 650! This is being addressed by FIC... new BIOS coming soon.

I heard the original problems with the FIC were fixed with a BIOS update.(?)
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
