So Creative had the driver finished nearly 2 months ago, but didn't release it till now. Strange. Anyone know what was actually fixed/changed?

                  Hello everybody!

You guys who allready has the LW 3.0, how is it? Any really good improvments? How is the mp3 encoder?

Just ordered it myself, but I preferred the old fashion CD version instead so I have to wait a week or so...

                  Greetings Baxman

I got the same error as you Steve, but I got them from Shazbot as well.

I couldn't even get to the creative site (not even a too many users error, it was more like a unauthorized access error).

                    Anyone who downloaded from Creative?

Thanks for posting the files Shazbot!!! It was a real help!!!

Don't use the setup they supply - run the two other EXE's and let them unzip to the temp dir somewhere, then run the setup from there. It seems to hang at 10%, but just give it a few mins and it carries on.
                      Time for a reboot!

I tried that too and got a different error, something about unable to copy certain files or something (probably cause I end tasked it after the first time when I thought it was frozen at 10%)

I'll have to try to uninstall and re-install everything again.

                          Thanks!

acobra - wipe out your windows\temp dir. and then try that again.

I THINK I tried that, but I'm not 100% sure...

I'll try it tonight if I ever get out of work!!!

                              Thanks!

yeah, from SC's posted link, but I think I got in early with my 56k connection before I got bumpped off by the high speed guys. heh
I wish I could help. But I haven't experienced any of the above mentioned probs so I wouldn't know a fix.
However, I didn't uninstall any previous drivers because during the install it asks you if you want it to uninstall the earlier drivers before proceeding with the installation.
