    Hey Dennis1,

    Set PIRQ1=11 not PIRQ0

Hmm, with my BIOS (that's a BH6, LN) it's P_IRQ0 controlling the AGP slot, and PIRQ_1 controls the second PCI slot... 'Confused? You won't be after next week's episode of... Abit'

PIRQ_0 is the one you want for the AGP/first PCI slot. I'm doing the same thing to force my Max to IRQ 9. IRQ 9 seems to be free otherwise, with the Max going for IRQ 7 (disabled serial and parallel ports here). This is a BE6 with the latest BIOS revision from Abit's site (MU, I think). I haven't noticed any performance issues (decrease or increase) from moving the IRQ that the Matrox is on though.

Good luck with your problem Dennis1. I can tell you that once you get your setup going, the combination of P3-450 and Matrox G400 are excellent.

Yes Scytale, I did use manual settings, I double clicked on the IRQ setting but changing was not allowed, strange he ?,
Paul someone said that it was PIRQ0 therefore perhaps I had no succes, I will try PIRQ1, thanks !!!
