DVD Max / SB Live / 4 Speakers

Has anyone been able to get 5.1 downmixed to live's 4 speaker output.

I've read its possible with WinDVD or PowerDVD but the 4 speaker option seems grayed out, yet I have my Live set for 4 speakers...

Any ideas?

For the latest WinDVD 1.2.99 you need to make the following reg hack

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Softare\Intervideo\WinDVD\- AUDIO => change to a "4" value.

I use WinDVD with the DVDMAX option, it plays to the T.V just like the Matrox DVD player except that you cannot minimise otherwise no problem.
